To access golf courses, membership with the Italian Golf Federation (Federazione Italiana Golf) is required. The annual federal card, costing 100 euros, includes Third-Party Liability (TPL/RCT) insurance coverage, guaranteeing peace of mind and protection for the player during sporting activity.

Once the membership request has been submitted, the beginner can start attending the course accompanied by the instructor, gradually acquiring the necessary autonomy to play in full independence. At the end of a practice period on the course, generally between three and six months, the player will be ready to take the course clearance test (GA), to be achieved under the guidance of the Club’s instructors.

During this phase, the Club’s professionals will evaluate not only technical preparation but also knowledge of the fundamental rules of golf and, above all, the respect and care for the course, which are essential elements of golfing culture. 

In line with the principles that inspire this sport, the golfer is called upon to follow a simple yet profound rule: play the ball as it lies, play the course as you find it, and always leave it in better conditions than you found it.
